Why this project exist?

Generate QR for local shop can be frustrating, especially when our local shop want to change their logo, add some text, in short, customization.

I open Figma every single time when customer need a new QR for their standee. It seems okay until you have a lot of customer. Design QR for every single customer in Figma? Seriously?

That's how this project is started.

How I did it?

This project build using UIKit, mainly:

1. UIViewController containment

2. ScrollView

3. UIView snapshot for save QR

4. UIViewPropertyAnimator for animation after snapshotting

5. A custom UIActivityViewController when user tap on share

The result?

The app rank #2 in top paid iPad apps, just below Procreate.

This alone, make me really happy 😊.

Final thought

This project saved me several hours every weekend, if not more than that. The customer also happy with the app as they can update their standee (logo, name, QR code) anytime they want. Because of that, I have some more time at the weekend to learn something new for my career, and enjoy playing badminton 🏸 with my friends and colleges.
