How to open an M3U playlist on iPhone
To open an M3U playlist on iPhone, use a player such as TellyFlow and add the playlist URL or select its M3U file. If your source supplied an Xtream account instead, use that import route. After import, choose a channel and check playback. TellyFlow supplies the player; you bring your own authorized source.

Check what your source supplied
Before opening the import screen, identify whether you have a playlist address, an M3U file saved on the phone, or Xtream login details. These are different inputs. A webpage explaining a service is not necessarily its playlist URL, and an account login should not be pasted into the playlist-name field.
Use a source you are authorized to access and keep its supplied details private. A playlist address may contain account-specific information. If you need help later, describe the input type and error without publishing the full address or credentials.
Add a playlist URL in TellyFlow
TellyFlow’s playlist URL importer has separate name and address fields. Give the list a name you will recognize later; the address field needs the actual supplied playlist URL. Menu labels can vary with the app’s language and layout.
Copy the full supplied URL rather than only part of it or the webpage you used to obtain it. If the app reports an invalid or duplicate URL, check the existing list and the original address before trying again. Importing the same source again will not change its account access.
- Copy the playlist address supplied by your authorized source.
- Open TellyFlow’s playlist URL import route.
- Enter a name and the complete URL, then save.
- Wait for the import result and inspect the resulting channel list.
Use the file route for a saved M3U
For a saved M3U, use the file-import option and select the playlist in the iPhone file picker. This route is for a playlist file, not an individual video or a webpage address.
Confirm you selected the intended playlist, especially when several downloads have similar names. Do not rename an unrelated document to give it an M3U extension. If the source gave you Xtream server and login details, use the Xtream importer rather than trying to invent an M3U URL from them.
Check the channel list, then check a stream
An imported channel list and a playing video are two separate checkpoints. First confirm that the playlist appears and contains recognizable channels. Then choose a channel that your source says is available to your account and try playback.
For an illustrative check, imagine a list called “My supplied channels.” Seeing its name and channel entries shows that the list has been added; it does not show that every stream is reachable or supported. A source can supply a list while a particular stream is unavailable. This example uses no real provider details and makes no playback test claim.
Use search, favorites and available guide data
Once the list is usable, TellyFlow can search channels and organize favorites. Start with a few channels you actually intend to revisit. This makes a large supplied playlist easier to navigate without treating favorites as extra viewing rights.
EPG schedules depend on guide data from the source. An empty guide is not proof that the playlist failed to import, just as a populated channel list is not proof that guide data is available. Keep the first import check separate from later guide troubleshooting.
Keep player features separate from content access
TellyFlow does not include or sell channels, playlists or content subscriptions. Your source and connection determine channel availability and playback. If a channel will not play, check the supplied details and account status with the source before assuming another app purchase will unlock it.
AirPlay, Picture in Picture, unlimited playlists and ad removal are TellyFlow Premium features. Receiver and stream compatibility still apply. Review current in-app purchase details if you need those features; Premium is not a subscription to the channels in your playlist.
Questions
Does TellyFlow come with channels?
No. TellyFlow is a player for your own authorized playlists. It does not include or sell TV channels, playlists or subscriptions to content.
Should I choose URL import or file import?
Use URL import for a supplied playlist address. Use M3U file import for a playlist file you can select from the phone. Xtream credentials have their own import route.
Why do channels appear but one will not play?
Importing the list and reaching a supported stream are separate checks. Availability depends on the source, account, connection and stream. A successful import does not guarantee every channel will play.
